How far in advance should I book my wedding hair and makeup?
+
I recommend booking as early as possible, ideally 12 to 18 months before your wedding date. Peak dates from April to October, Fridays to Sundays and bank holidays fill up quickly. Securing your date early means you can relax knowing your wedding morning is taken care of.

What is included in a bridal hair and makeup trial?
+
Your trial is a private appointment at my studio in Midsomer Norton, near Bath. I'll tailor your look to your hair type and facial features, work through your inspiration and make sure every detail feels right before your wedding day. Trials typically last 2 to 3 hours depending on your
package. You'll leave feeling completely confident in your chosen look.
How long does bridal hair and makeup take on the wedding morning?
+
For the bride, hair and makeup together typically takes 2 to 2.5 hours. I always create a detailed schedule for your wedding morning so everything runs smoothly and no one feels rushed. Timing varies depending on your chosen look and the size of your party. I'll go through this with you in detail before your wedding day so you know exactly what to expect.
Will my bridal hair and makeup last all day and night?
+
Absolutely. Every product I use is selected for longevity and I apply techniques specifically designed to keep your look fresh from your wedding morning through to the last song. You'll also receive a complimentary touch-up kit so you can refresh throughout the day. I work with long-lasting primers, setting sprays and waterproof products to ensure everything holds beautifully whatever the day brings.
Will I still look like myself with my wedding hair and makeup?
+
Always. My whole approach is built around enhancing who you are, not transforming you. I take time at your trial to understand how you normally present yourself and how you want to feel. The result should feel like you, just the most confident, polished version of yourself. Take a look at my
portfolio to see how I work.
How do I prepare for my bridal hair and makeup trial?
+
Come with clean, dry hair and your normal skincare routine done as usual. Bring inspiration images as they help me understand the direction you're drawn to. Wearing a white or light coloured top helps you visualise how your look works with your dress. I'll also send you a personalised skincare guide ahead of your appointment. Take a look at my
packages for more on what's included.
Where do you travel to for weddings?
+
I travel to wedding venues across the UK. A travel fee of £1 per mile one way applies. For destination weddings in Portugal, the Algarve and across Europe, travel and accommodation are quoted separately as part of a bespoke package. If you're unsure whether I cover your venue,
just get in touch.
